- PRODUCT WARRANTY
1.1. The company Enset d.o.o. guarantees that standard products of the Enset brand are free of defects in material and workmanship. This warranty applies to end customers subject to the conditions set forth herein. The warranty period for products under our brand is ten (10) years from the date of purchase. Natural defects and the occurrence of corrosion are not subject to warranty.
1.2. Protective components such as wind shields, galvanized steel sheet elements, galvanized steel bolts, and concrete ballast parts are covered by an eight (8) year warranty.
1.3. The warranty is valid for products that were delivered after February 1, 2023 and remains valid until any change in the warranty conditions.
1.4. The warranty applies exclusively to end customers and does not cover distributors, installers or buyers of used products. End customers are individuals or organizations who purchase a product for their own use and not for resale. Products that have been removed and reinstalled are not covered by the warranty, unless the procedure was carried out for the purpose of repair.
1.5. This warranty is an independent, voluntary and free benefit for end customers and does not affect any quality agreements between buyers and sellers of products (unless the seller is Enset d.o.o.).
1.6. The rights under the warranty are not transferable to third parties.
1.7. The warranty is valid in the European Union and in the countries where our products are first placed on the market. The warranty can only be claimed during the warranty period of ten (10) years, and it is not possible to extend the warranty period.
- WARRANTY SERVICES
2.1. In the event of a justified warranty claim, we may, at our sole discretion, repair the product free of charge, replace it with an equivalent or refund the purchase price.
2.2. The service under the warranty includes repair, replacement or refund. The costs of removal, transport and reinstallation of the products, as well as any loss of profits, are not included.
- LIMITATIONS AND EXCLUSIONS
3.1. The warranty does not apply in the following cases:
- damage caused by natural disasters or force majeure (e.g. earthquakes, floods, storms, lightning),
- improper maintenance, repairs or alterations carried out by an unauthorized person,
- normal wear and tear or visual abnormalities that do not affect performance,
- non-compliance with applicable technical standards and installation instructions.
3.2. The warranty can only be claimed if the product has been used for its intended purpose, without excessive wear and tear or damage. Installation must be carried out in accordance with our instructions.
3.3. The warranty does not cover certain components, such as rubber and plastic parts without a load-bearing function, as well as underlay and sealing materials (e.g. felt, bitumen, TPO, PVC, EPDM, adhesive sealants, etc.). We recommend regular inspection and maintenance of these materials.
3.4. The warranty does not cover:
- damage to roofing or other elements that are not part of our construction,
- failures resulting from failures of other components of the system (e.g. modules, cables, inverters),
- damage due to excessive voltage, fire, mechanical or chemical influences,
- defects due to improper installation, use or storage,
- products with altered serial numbers or identification marks.
3.5. Our liability under this warranty is limited to the value of the product purchased. We are not liable for direct or indirect damage, loss of profit or power outage.
- PROCEDURE FOR CLAIMING THE GUARANTEE
4.1. The guarantor for the products is the company Enset d.o.o., Kraigherjeva ulica 22, 2230 Lenart in Slovenske gorice, Slovenia.
4.2. The warranty is valid only if the products are regularly maintained by authorized inspectors.
4.3. A warranty claim must be filed within a warranty period of ten (10) years, no later than eight (8) days after the defect is discovered.
The request must be submitted in writing (by post or e-mail).
4.4. Advertised products can only be returned with prior written consent.
4.5. When claiming the guarantee, the following must be attached:
- contact details of the end customer,
- the date of system startup,
- Enset Project Report,
- detailed photos of the system and errors,
- Installation invoice or order confirmation.
4.6. The rules and procedures relating to the guarantee are regulated in accordance with the legislation of the Republic of Slovenia, excluding the application of the UN Convention on Contracts for the International Sale of Goods (CISG).
